The Austrian Wine Festival is Asia’s premier festival that promotes the top quality, uniqueness and versatility of Austrian wines. After an iconic blind tasting in London when renowned wine writers, sommeliers and wine personalities chose Austrian wine over top Burgundies, Austrian wines have found favour in wine lists of top restaurants around the world over the past decade, in particular wines crafted from indigenous Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Blaufränkisch grapes.

Started in Singapore in 2009, the second edition of the Austria Wine Festival the following year grew to include participation from restaurants of diverse cuisine styles, as well as highlight events in restaurant such as Les Amis & Brasserie Wolf.

Austrian Wine Festival 2012 promises more, with top wine producers visits over the entire month. 1-Michelin star Austrian guest chef, Christian Winkler, from Restaurant Schindlhaus, will also showcase his style of refined Austrian cuisine - a perfect pairing with wines from his country.
